The Centre is to provide the infrastructure and access to capital expensive equipment, raw material, technical expertise and managerial assistance, to start up businesses in the aluminium casting industry. Mentorship and administrative management is provided to increase the success rate of fledgling businesses, assisting them in securing sales and adhering to qualitative production standards.
Once the entrepreneurs are effective in their cubicles at DACT, they are mentored and assisted so that they can eventually effectively exit the facility and establish independent ventures. A constant flow of fresh trainees, competent and with exceptional entrepreneurial flair is needed to take up cubicles vacated by successful predecessors. Continuous tenants also ensure rental income for the project.
